PHOTO CONTEST


All you amateur photographers, this contest is for you. Winning and selected photos will be displayed during the Festival throughout Apple Village located on the Town Green as well as the Festival Kickoff Gala at the Aqua Turf.

Contest deadline: Friday, September 12, 2008

Rules:

  1. The contest is open to amateur photographers only.
  2. There are no age categories.
  3. There is no entry fee.
  4. The theme for the photos should have something to do with apples or the harvesting of apples.
  5. The date and the place the photo was taken must appear on the reverse side of the photo along with entrants name and address.
  6. All photos submitted should be mounted on a mountboard, foamcore or place ina cardboard mat. No frames.
  7. Photos should be either 5” x 7” or 8” x 11’ in size. Color or black & white.
  8. Maximum of 2 entries per entrant.
  9. ALL ENTRIES BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE SOUTHINGTON APPLE HARVEST FESTIVAL.
  10. Send entries to: Apple Harvest Festival – Photos, P.O. Box 907, Southington, CT 06489, or drop off at the Parks & Rec office located inside Southington Town Hall.

Prizes: 1st Prize - $100 2nd Prize - $75 3rd Prize - $50
